Inside Dantherm Cooling: The Six Point Quality Control Process
Our customers rely on Dantherm Cooling climate control units in mission-critical applications that demand performance and reliability from day one. Whether installed in enclosures, modular buildings, or telecom shelters, our units must perform exactly as expected from the moment they leave our facility. That's why every Dantherm Cooling unit is tested in-house before leaving our facility.
Before any unit ships, it undergoes a six-point quality control process designed to verify pressure integrity, eliminate potential leaks, and confirm full operational functionality. This process ensures every climate control system meets the performance and durability standards our customers rely on in the most demanding environments.

A Closer Look at the Six Point Quality Control Process
Dantherm's 6-Point Quality Control Process is designed with one goal in mind: to provide fully operational units that are ready to perform from day one. By following our six-step process, we can identify and resolve any potential issues before a unit leaves our facility. This process helps reduce delays during installation, minimizes on-site maintenance needs, and delivers systems that are engineered to perform and built to last.
Line Purge
We purge the line to remove any debris left behind after the copper refrigerant tubes have been brazed together.
Burst Test
Next, we perform a burst test to ensure there are no leaks in the refrigerant circuit before moving on to the vacuum and charge stations.
Vacuum Test
A vacuum pump is attached and pulls the system down to 200 microns to remove dust, debris, and moisture from the refrigerant circuit while also confirming there are no leaks in the copper tubes.
Automatic Vacuum and Charge
At the automatic charge station, the unit is vacuumed again for an additional leak check before the system is charged with refrigerant.
Refrigerant Leak "Sniff" Test
After the system has been charged, we perform a sniff test to confirm there are no refrigerant leaks.
Full Functional Test
Finally, the unit is powered on and run in cooling mode to perform a complete functional test, verifying that all fans, pumps, and compressors are operating within the normal range.
What This Means for You
Faster Installation
Issues resolved before shipping means no delays on your job site.
Less On-Site Maintenance
Units arrive verified and ready — minimizing field service calls.
Confidence & Peace of Mind
Every unit is proven to spec before it ever reaches your facility.
Quality You Can Count On
Testing every unit in-house ensures our customers receive equipment that has already been verified for performance, reliability, and readiness for deployment. Dantherm Cooling guarantees that each system leaving our factory meets the highest rigorous quality and performance standards needed to operate in mission-critical environments. Our testing process allows our customers to move forward with confidence and peace of mind.
